Ometepe Bilingual School

We accept volunteers throughout the school year to teach English.
Volunteers will instruct a combination of classes for about 20 to 30 hours each week:
OBS Kindergarten, OBS First Grade, English Enrichment for Kids, High School After School English
Volunteers are responsible for helping the classroom instructor in running activities and also providing support for student education. Volunteers will also lead activities in English and plan Spanish or English activities according to the needs of the classroom teacher.
There is the potential for other opportunities depending on the requirements of the school. You may be asked to assist our long-term volunteers in teaching adult English lessons or assisting administrative projects and non-school projects including fundraising, conservation, recycling, and activities involving the Hacienda.
