Accounts Payables Accountant (French native)

The Company.

For one of our clients, an international Shared Service Centre based in Barcelona, we are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payables Accountant with a native level of French.

The Job.

In this role you will be a vital team member of the finance team. Assisting in Accounts Payable activities for the assigned portfolio, region being based in the Shared Service Center in Barcelona.

Your responsibilities:

– Ensure invoices are booked on correct account/cost center and a corresponding project code
– Process Invoices (ERP Tool – NetSuite knowledge is a plus)
– Review the proper application of the VAT in accordance to the local GAAP
– Ensure correct approval process and proper documentation
– Prepare the payment run in a timely manner– Proofread and edit content
– Monitor the AP ageing and prepare weekly review of the subledger
– Reconcile accounts and ensure group policies are applied
– Respond to all Finance contacts inquiries
– Prepare documents for any external/internal audit
– Assist GL with month-end closing

Cerințe

The Profile.

– You have a native level of French and you are fluent in English
– You speak any additional European / Mediterranean languages (is a plus))
– You have a Degree in Business Administration, Accounting / Finance or equivalent
– You have min. 1-2 years of experience
– You have good MS Office skills (any ERP experience is a plus)
– You are precise and able to work with data
– You have problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team
– You are proactive, flexible and you can adapt easily to changes
