Volunteer Project for Street Kids In India

Volunteers will be provided with breakfast before going to the site of their volunteer placements. If needed, we will provide transportation to and from your program site. Volunteers usually spend around 4 hours working and have the afternoons and evenings free to explore the local culture. We also run field trips to places of interest and also invite interesting speakers to come speak with program participants. Our local cooks or your host family will provide you with delicious local freshly cooked meals. Weekends are for you to go on trips and travel or just relax after a busy week. We have staff from the surrounding areas who are more than happy to suggest interesting places to visit.

Your volunteer responsibilities include:

Helping develop the motor skills of children as you play games with them
Motivate parents and families to encourage children to attend school regularly
Participate and lead creative exercises like dance, music, painting, and drawing
Teach children about hygiene, proper clothing, and manners
Teach classes such as animals, colours, shapes, maths, and English

English
