Volunteer in Honduras - United Planet - 6-12 months
Program Description
Spend a life-changing year in Honduras with United Planet, get immersed in the vibrant culture, and play a crucial role in the life of local children and youth. Honduras is home to bountiful natural landscapes. During your volunteer journey, you will see natural reserves, cloud forests, and the second largest coral reef in the world.
As a volunteer in Honduras, you will have a chance to take part in various projects. You can assist youth and children in the rural schools and daycare centers, work with disabled youth, or volunteer at a hospital by helping children who are fighting cancer.
United Planet is working with International Cultural Youth Exchange (ICYE) for its long-term programs. As a volunteer, you will be hosted by ICYE Honduras, which is ICYE’s Honduran partner organization.
