Teaching Children in Tanzania

Program Description

Many schools in Tanzania do not have enough teachers. The quality of education is in some cases still very low. Volunteers can make a positive change by bringing education to Tanzanian children. Most of our volunteers work at pre-primary schools with children from 0 to 8 years. Teaching these kids is all about fun. You can teach them many things by playing games and singing songs. The satisfaction you will gain when seeing these kids develop and grow is one of a kind. Besides teaching, there is of course enough time to play and spend personal time with the children as well as organising other activities like day trips or excursions for the students. There are so many possibilities in this volunteering program and Wakawaka Volunteers will help you to find out how you can offer you time, skills and resources.
