Teach English A Sri Lankan Family

Live as more than a tourist in another culture and way of live. As a volunteer with this community program, you will experience life with a local family in their own home. With only fifteen hours of English conversation each week, a local Sri Lankan family will house you and provide you with three meals a day. This will allow you a lot of free time to go on excursions to interesting nearby areas and allowing you to hone your language skills. Sri Lanka is a beautiful destination in South Asia and this program would allow you to really see what life is like in this gorgeous country.

For only fifteen hours of English conversation a week, your host family will provide you with a private room and three delicious meals a day. These conversation lessons can go from assisting family members with homework to just regular conversation. You can also schedule lessons to fit with the family’s lifestyle and needs.
