Program Description
ETIV do Brazil is looking for volunteers and/or interns to support our projects in environmental conservation, youth development, teaching English, women's empowerment and community organizing. In addition, we are also looking for volunteers to work in the ETIV office; learning about NGO administration while supporting a variety of roles including volunteer recruitment, marketing & communications, website development, volunteer coordination, animal welfare, veterinary care and/or painting and construction. ETIV do Brasil is located in the beautiful fishing and surfing town of Itacare, Bahia. Our mission is to connect international travelers with meaningful volunteer opportunities to support environmental conservation and development in Brazil. We also provide Eco-adventure tours in and around Itacare as well as cultural education classes including Portuguese, Samba and/or Capoeira classes.
These positions are perfect for someone seeking meaningful work experience in a stunning location with a thriving Afro-Brazilian culture. Itacare is unique place where the Rain-forest meets the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful beaches, jungles, coconut trees, waterfalls and wildlife abound.
