Journalism Internship

This is an internship for journalism that will show program participants the inner world of print publications. Not only will you be able to develop and build a portfolio, you will also have the chance to join our Radio & Television journalism placement to learn about production and broadcasting. Boost your CV as you build a network and excel in this competitive field.

As an intern, you will be supervised by experienced journalists and represent a professional organization. This is a rewarding but challenging field and well worth the effort. Gain valuable experience as you are mentored in this field.

Usual Volunteer Responsibilities:

Write featured articles and news stories
Proofread colleagues' publication work
Research stories and conduct interviews in the field
Read news on the air
Produce engaging segments and write copy for broadcast
Attend press conferences
Cover news conferences and human interest stories
Edit stories and attend news events
