Program Description
Dental care is one of the most critically underserved areas of international health care, as dental care is usually not included in the socialized health care systems found in most developing countries. Through ISL, thousands receive dental care – with your help!
Enjoy an International experience providing physical therapy evaluations and services during home visits, within local health care facilities and community clinics. Physical therapy teams are open to all volunteers, but they can also be reserved as separate programs for schools.
Volunteers are directly supervised by a licensed dental professional at all times, and our dental programming functions in accordance with the best practices of the local dental community and is compatible with ADEA guidelines.
