Program Description
First time English teachers or those who are interested in pursuing this profession should consider enrolling in our 120 hour TEFL Certificate programme. You will be trained in the terminology and grammar necessary to teaching while also watching videos of real TEFL lessons, gaining an in-depth knowledge of TEFL theory, and having a comprehensive introduction to the methodology of TEFL.
This course features:
Weekend 20-hour TEFL course
This is an intense, but fun, weekend that introduces you to important TEFL activities and skills that you will use when teaching English. This is a hands-on experience designed to give you a comprehensive introduction.
Online 50-hour TEFL course
This portion of the course will guide you in teaching styles, classroom management, and other features of TEFL methodology. Meet with fellow students through online forums and study with your personal tutor. This portion has lessons on teaching English in a one-to-one setting, young learners, and business English.
Grammar Course 30 hours
This is a crash course in grammar rules and structure as well as terminology.
Lesson Observation Video course 20 Hours
Work with a personal tutor and observe actual TEFL lessons. See the activities that work and don’t work in a classroom setting so you can improve your own lesson plans.
