Language Assistant France, Montpellier

Journey to the beautiful French region of Montpellier with us to teach English to a local family, and gain unforgettable language, travel and cultural experiences. On this cultural exchange programme you will stay with a local French family for up to 3 months, and in exchange for your room and meals, you will help the family with their English skills. This programme gives you the fantastic opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience, discover the typical French lifestyle and explore everything that France has to offer, as well as developing your French language skills.

On this exciting and worthwhile programme you will spend about 15 hours per week teaching the family (usually the children) English, and you will also have the opportunity to attend a French Language School, which will give you a complete lingual and cultural learning experience. All of our carefully selected French host families have been chosen for the welcoming atmosphere that they offer students, and you will surely be looked after very well in lovely homes.

During this programme you will stay in the picturesque city of Montpellier in Southern France. In your free time you will have plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful city, which is famous for its rich history and culture. Montpellier benefits from 300 days of sunshine a year, which is perfect weather for enjoying the many cafes, pretty squares, medieval streets and daily markets.
