Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS)

The Summer Graduate Business Studies (SGBS) program at the University of Victoria is an engaging study abroad experience. The program is instructed by world class instructors who also teach MBA and MGB students at the Gustavson School of Business. Students will earn credits toward their home institution and degree, while better understanding the international business environment. In addition to the amazing learning experience, students will be fully immersed in the culture of Victoria by participating in a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

Program Content:
-Global Strategy – Develop an understanding of doing business in a global environment.
-Cross-Cultural Management - Understand the complexity and dynamics of doing business across national borders.
-Social Entrepreneurship - Following a two-day on-campus introduction, students will make field visits to a variety of social enterprises in the Victoria/Vancouver area, and wrap up with a team-based project that requires students to apply what they've learned through the analysis of a soc
