Master 2 DEIPM - University Paris Est Créteil

Students enrolled in the Master 2 Development Economics and International Project Management (DEIPM) will be trained in developing Official Development Aid (ODA) programs for a variety of countries.

Students having a professional experience in project management are welcome to our vocational training branch (including prior training assessment).

Direct admission to M2 DEIPM: a first year of Master (or equivalent) is required. Sufficient training in economics is recommended.

Our world-class faculty is made up of professionals from the consulting industry as well as senior academics. We employ economic experts and those who are affiliated with renowned international development organizations. We collaborate closely with consulting firms to providing training.

The Master DEIPM is a joint curriculum of Universities Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) and Paris-Est Marne La Vallée (UPEM). Courses take place at Créteil. All courses are taught in English.

The training programme comprises three stages:

- From September to February, 17 courses grouped in 4 teaching units: Institutions, economics and development; International project management and engineering; Development strategies by sector; Varia. Conferences held at the World Bank, the OECD, and the French Agency for Development (AFD), and visits at the European Commission also take place during this period.
- Beginning of March, students carry out a one-week field mission abroad and write a report.
- From mid-March to September, students go to internship (4 to 6 months) and write a professional master thesis.

English
