Intensive Arabic Language Program
Program Description
The cultural makeup of the city of Haifa is replicated among the student body at the University of Haifa International School. This mosaic provides the ultimate setting for Arabic language studies.
July 6-30, 2015 AND August 3-27, 2015
2 consecutive sessions of intensive Arabic language. Students can choose to take either one or both. Each session awards five academic credits.
The program is a four-week modular course in Modern Standard Arabic (the written language). The program is offered at the elementary and intermediate levels and students MUST complete a placement exam in advance.
Classes meet six hours a day, four days a week. A homework club is available for students in the afternoon with a local, native-speaking student to help them or to sit and practice speaking Arabic.
The program is designed for those prepared to immerse themselves into an intensive language acquisition experience.
Students have the opportunity to live alongside native-speaking students in the campus dormitories as well as participate in a plethora of special extra-curricular activities designed specially for international students.
