This is an exciting opportunity in Milton Keynes for a Senior Systems Engineer.

Cummins Electrified Power are a leading provider offlexible battery solutions for demanding automotive and powerapplications .

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:

By applying technical expertise on complex components or projects and working under minimal supervision

By applying specialized knowledge of engineering principles and practices across various battery solution projects.

By providing input and managing the technical profile

By ensuring regulatory compliance of the product / project

By working with both internal and external stakeholders

By performing DFMEA and root cause analysis

Requirements

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Required:

Understanding of basic electrical circuits

Experience dealing with customers and suppliers

Hands-on test experience, preferably mechanical and electrical

DFMEA experience

Experience with root cause analysis procedures and tools

Experience dealing with standards and regulations

Experience in prototyping

Understanding of batteries for automotive applications desirable

Understanding of basic statistics desirable

Understanding of battery / BEV standards and regulations desirable

Required Education, Licenses or Certifications

College, University, or equivalent degree in Engineering required.

In return we can offer an excellent salary of between £36000 and £45000 (dependenton experience)
