Senior Front-End Developer
Job Description
If you excel in IT skills and have a can-do attitude, we want to hear from you! A client of ours is seeking to recruit a Senior Front-End Developer to be part of their dynamic team.
What is expected of you?
Influence product and interface concepts from their earliest stages
Write client-side code to create fast, responsive, future-friendly web applications
Implement and maintain front end development of Web UIs and mobile friendly sites
Create design/UX/UI concepts and strategy
Break down and estimate feature requests, improvements and fixes
Build Single Page applications using JavaScript and REST APIs
Carry out testing on sites as part of internal processes.

Requirements
What are you expected to bring?
A university degree in IT or equivalent
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, CSS & RESTful Web services
Experience with React JS, Angular JS, and/or ES6 a huge plus
Fluency with data, and able to represent data that needs to be prepared and visualized in the browser
Familiar with test driven development and good engineering practices
Good understanding of Web systems architecture, OOP and MVC concepts
Experience working with databases
Experience in other development languages would be considered an asset
