Regulatory Risk Senior Officer

What’s expected of you?

-Identify, follow up and analyse upcoming regulations, assessing their applicability to the company and actively make recommendations on the most effective way to implement them
-Assist the company’s Regulatory Liaison Manager to develop and maintain a regulatory change oversight dashboard, and drive the planning and implementation of regulatory changes to meet key deliverables
-Provide input for risk reports with focus on the management and monitoring of regulatory risk
-Support the company’s Regulatory Liaison Manager by collating responses on different themes to address the queries raised by the regulator
-Monitor the regulatory mailbox, keep track of the various regulatory requests and ensure that responses are given by the stipulated timeframe
-Assist the management by coordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings on regulatory matters
-Review the company’s risk governance framework and ensure that this is embedded consistently across the company and its subsidiaries
-Assist the risk function by developing, implementing and maintaining a risk education and awareness training programme
-Assist with research and implementation of industry best practices in risk governance and regulatory matters
-Provide support and input for various key regulatory documents such as the company’s Recovery Plan, ICAAP/ILAAP, and Contingency Funding Plan
-Assist in the review of Group risk management policies and proactively maintaining the Group risk policy register

What are you expected to bring?

-Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Economics or Banking, or a related area, or equivalent technical knowledge and skills
-Knowledge of local and EU financial regulation
-Ability to build effective working relationships with different stakeholders at every level within the company
-Ability to prioritise among various regulatory deliverables
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office
