Logistics Executive (based in Malta)

We are seeking to recruit a Logistics Executive for one of our clients in the Manufacturing sector. The chosen candidate will oversee and coordinate both personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. What is expected of you?

Monitor stock levels- opening, production, total issues and closing stock figures
Use associated information systems to direct, optimise, and coordinate the full order cycle
Deal with distributors & cold store staff queries regarding logistics issues
Supervise, coach and train warehouse staff, as well as allocate and manage staff resources
Maintain a healthy relationship with distributors
Monitor the return of empty containers section (empty crates collection, reconciliation, maintaining discards returns to a bare minimum)
Stock issuing reconciliation
Ensure smooth loading of trucks during loading hours
Recommend potential improvements to better improve the department's efficiency

What are you expected to bring?

MQF level 4 qualification in Logistics or experience working in a leadership role in a Logistics environment
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics position
A can-do attitude and a team player
Effective communication skills
Fluent in Maltese and English
