DevOps System Engineer

For our location in Brasov, Romania we are currently looking for a DEVOPS SYSTEM ENGINEER.

WHAT RESPONSIBILITIES WILL YOU HAVE?
• Ramp up new deployment pipelines
• Evaluate and improve internal development tools
• Maintain, support and enhance various environments and their backend services, within the agreed SLA
• Be the spearhead in general deployment improvement
• Be aware of all needs within the development teams, strive for excellence in providing tools and environments that foster efficient and high-quality development
• Continue and improve documentation of all service operations

WHAT ARE YOUR QUALIFICATIONS?
• Good knowledge about automation/configuration/deployment management systems
• Fair understanding of Spring (Cloud), Java / JVM framework
• Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, high availability and scalability
• Good knowledge of logging, monitoring and operational analytic tools
• Fair knowledge of one of the following databases: MS SQL, MYSQL
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows administration
• Good knowledge of networking and protocols
• Fair knowledge of CI platforms such as Jenkins or TeamCity
• Knowledge about monitoring systems (e.g. Nagios, Cacti, Check_MK)
• Strong verbal and written communication in English

NICE TO HAVE:
• Knowledge of monitoring & alerting tools (e.g. Nagios, ELK’s)
• Solid and broad scripting skills (Bash, Powershell, Perl etc.)
• Good automation framework (e.g. Puppet / Chef/ Salt/ Ansible) and containerization knowledge (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant)
• Knowledge of Databases: MariaDB, MongoDB, PostGreSQL
• Experience with Continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, TeamCity), artifact repository managers (e.g. Artifactory), version control systems (e.g. GIT , Bitbucket Server, SVN)
