Corporate Lawyer

A client of ours is looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join its legal department. If you’re interested and in possession of the required skills, then Ceek would like to hear from you!

What is expected of you?

Assist in the drafting and preparation of corporate documentation; such as resolutions
Assist with the negotiation, review and drafting of agreements, forms or any other legal documentation
Assist with all corporate related ventures such as mergers, acquisitions, due diligence etc
Liaise directly with Maltese Registrar of Companies, MFSA and other national and international governmental bodies
Assist in the applications for registration of yachts and other vessels
Assist in the reporting to local and international regulatory authorities; including the ones regulating antimoney laundering procedures

What are you expected to bring?

University degree in Law (LL.B/LL.D)
Candidates with an LL.M qualification will be preferred
Interest in corporate law and financial services law
Excellent time management skilla
Desire for continuous learning and professional development
Ability to work in a multicultural environment
Strong IT Skills; especially in MS Office
Excellent written and oral skills in Maltese and English. Knowledge in other languages, especially in Italian will be considered as an asset
