Content Writer

GCS Recruitment are searching for a talented Content Writer to work for one of the leading financial companies in Malta.
Responsibilities:
• Research industry-related topics using a number of sources.
• Create resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, social posts, guides, templates, etc.).
• Actively manage and promote our blog and pitch articles to relevant third-party platforms
• Grow our customer base by providing them with regular, helpful content that’s aligned with their needs and interests.
• Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas
• Use SEO guidelines to conduct keyword research, optimize content and to increase web traffic
• Ensure the all-around consistency of the brand (style, tone of voice etc.)
• Identify needs and gaps in content, contribute to idea generation and pitch content that supports the overall content strategy

Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a content writer, journalist, copywriter
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Portfolio of published articles
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems
• Experience conducting research using multiple sources
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
