Assistant F&B Manager

What is required of you?

Supervise and train dining room staff
Manage department within budgetary restraints
Assist in developing/implementing programs to increase sales
Approach all encounters with members, guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
Assist in scheduling personnel
plan room set-up based upon anticipated guest counts and client needs
Take reservations and checks table reservation schedules
Assist with on-going training of all Food & Beverage staff
Receive and handles complaints concerning food, beverages or service.
Check the maintenance of all equipment in the dining room and reports deficiencies.
Produce sales analyses and other reports from the POS system.
Assist in inventory of dining room items
Assist in monitoring and controlling Food & Beverage expenses and payroll
Assist with coaching, counselling and conducting performance appraisals for employees.
Ensure a pleasant dining experience in all outlets by collaborating with Executive Chef in the creation of menus and menu pricing as requested

What you can bring to the role?

A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel
