Our Distribution Business Unit in Europe consists of a distributor and dealer support network. They deliver reliable sales and service of durable and high performing engine, generator set and aftermarket products to our regionally based (global) partners. Working in a diverse, multi-cultural and innovative space, you’ll interact directly with our customers, build relationships and develop high tech solutions that will fuel your advanced career skill set. This is an exciting opportunity in Wellingborough for an Assistant Accountant.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
• Responsible for reconciliation and adjustment of various general ledger accounts.
• Makes accounting adjustments through appropriate journal entries.
• Assists with the production of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assists with monthly and annual account reconciliations and close activities.
• Reconciliations of all Ireland bank accounts.
• Responsible for Ireland loan account transactions.
• Responsible for the Aged GRNI for external suppliers.
• Ireland VAT submissions.
• Ireland AP and AR review and investigations.
• Assist in the maintenance of the General Ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• May perform less complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects.
• Provide assistance to other members of the department as and when required.
Requirements
Skills and Experience Required:
• At least one year professional work experience in the field of study required.
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications:
• College, University, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
• ACCA/CIMA part Qualified.

Salary £26,160 - £32,700
