Paid English Teaching Internships in China

Interns with our program will be placed in local primary schools, language institutes and kindergartens in order to teach English. All interns will have on-the-job instruction and training as well as hands-on experience rather than merely focusing on theory. You will be a much more desirable candidate for future career opportunities since you will have already worked abroad. As an intern with this program, you will enhance many skills including communication and leadership while broadening your world view. You will work with colleagues from across the globe as you teach English to local students.

Responsibilities:
• Around 30 hours of work each week with an average of about 6 hours daily.
• Instruct English to local students in your host organisation.
• Help the host organisation with any pastoral or extracurricular activities.

Placement cities vary and will be determined before departure.

- Intern with My Year in China and experience a wide range of youth programs geared towards those aged 18-29
- Experience China and be immersed in Chinese culture
- Choose from a wide range of intern opportunities that include teaching in local schools as well as au pair work
- You will be able to live and travel around China for free and even receive a stipend
