Our nursing work experience placements
When you’re just starting out, obtaining meaningful nursing experience can be a challenge. We’re here to make it easier. Our structured placements let you shadow and learn invaluable nursing skills from qualified professionals. As well as providing global health tutorials, our extensive programmes give you a unique edge when applying to university or progressing your nursing career.
Shadowing nurses
To get you a front row seat to the action, we select talented mentors from our partner hospitals that are committed to developing your clinical skills. During your time at the hospital, you will get the opportunity to work and learn about a variety of specialist departments, from outpatient to obstetrics and gynaecology.
Destinations
Join us for your medical work experience placement in Africa, Thailand, Croatia, Poland and our newest destination in the Caribbean. We select the towns where we run our programmes due to their friendly and welcoming feel and the areas where our houses are located are known for their safety.
For the first time, students wishing to practice their medical Spanish can request a placement in Spanish, English or a combination of the two in the Dominican Republic.
