Program Description
If you would like to become an Au Pair and learn Spanish in El Puerto de Santa Maria then ask Spark to help you and allow us to take you through the process and guide you on your way to a fantastic learning experience!
Become an Au Pair and learn Spanish in El Puerto de Santa Maria! Spark will help you on your way by guiding you through the process to a great learning experience.
Spark will place you with a friendly local family and provide you with comprehensive support during your au pair placement. We also offer Spanish courses for Au Pairs that run from 2 or 4 hours every day from Monday to Friday.
Au Pair Responsibilities: Establish a timetable with the homestay family and provide linguistic and cultural experiences for the children. Babysit in the evenings and lend a hand with domestic chores that include cleaning and cooking (no more than 2 hours each day). Au Pairs will work for up to 6 hours each day for 6 days a week.
Classes: 10 or 20 General Spanish Courses (note these are not included in the startup cost) and 4 days of social and cultural events.
Timetable: Au Pairs set up a time schedule with the family. Duties can take place in the morning or afternoon and could fall on one weekend day. If taking Spanish classes, we feature 10:00-12:00 (half course) or 10:00-14:00 (full course) that takes place Monday – Friday. Cultural activities can be in the afternoons or evenings.
Availability: July and August for 4 or 8 weeks
Minimum age 16
Au Pairs receive 50€ in pocket money per week directly from the host family.
