Diploma of Commerce

This course will prepare students for any challenges they will face in the global business arena. Commerce students will cover courses on technology, marketing, management, business law, economics and accounting.

During your studies at Curtin University, you will learn the theory and skills needed to gain confidence to be ready for the industry. These are the combinations of majors with subjects in the Humanities: Public Relations and Journalism, Economics and International Relations, Business Law and International Relations, Advertising and Creative Advertising Graphic Design, Accounting and Chinese.

The Curtin Business Administration program will provide you with the knowledge of all the crucial aspects of business administration. You will be prepared for managerial roles within the public and private sectors as well as internationally. You will be able to develop experience in the industry through fascinating projects.

The Diploma of Commerce is equivalent to Year 1 of a bachelor's degree at Curtin University.

Curtin College is for students who:
• Do not meet Curtin's minimum ATAR entry requirements
• Completed year 12 but did not obtain an ATAR
• Did not complete sufficient WACE subjects at high school
• Successfully completed year 11
• Are of mature age and do not meet Curtin University's entry requirements
