BA in Design Management

Students interested in PCA’s Design Management program will learn about the skills necessary to be a design manager and/or a strategic designer. The skills covered include leadership, entrepreneurial, and problem solving.

Students will use a hands-on approach to learn about the world of design. The faculty is made up of well-versed academics and industry professionals. Students will participate in projects with corporate partners, go on company visits, hear guest lectures, and participate in workshops. Students who are in their third year are required to participate in an internship worth one credit with an institution of their choosing. The required senior thesis of the program has students identifying the needs and potentials for innovation within their chosen business field. Graduates of this program will be successfully set up to enter into a successful career in this field or to begin their own business.

Concentrations include: Fashion, Communication, Branding and Interior Design.
