Program Description
Our organization is dedicated to ensuring that women have the opportunity to exercise their right to the same access and opportunities as men in political, education, and socio-economic spheres.
VIN empowers rurual communities with a focus on marginalised women and children. We run initiatives and programs involving Women’s Trafficking Prevention, Income Generation & Marketing, Microcredit Cooperative Support, Rights and Life Skills, and Education. The Women Empowerment Program aims to raise the quality of life for underprivileged women residing in rural communities by educating them and providing them with a life without violence, improved health, and economic tools. The entire community will grow and be enriched through the empowerment of women and children.
VIN is inviting international volunteers who are interested in working with our staff and local volunteers in the Women’s Empowerment Program. Become a part of the community as you teach, promote women’s rights, spearhead discussions and outreach on healthcare and issues, promote programs dedicated to life skills, or if you choose to work in Kathmandu on our Women’s Trafficking Prevention Project.
