Volunteer English Teacher Needed in Rural China

GFC is in need of enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in:

- Supporting a high-quality college that is progressive and working towards helping the visually impaired as well as ethnic minorities
- Promoting a high level of education and equality in the communities of Western China, which include teacher training with local primary and middle school English instructors
- Teaching students in the Guizhou Province who are underprivileged but academically remarkable
- Enhancing an environment conducive to student-centered learning
- Collaborating with Marriott Hotel, HTC, Tangrenfang, Baidu, and other partners to create a diverse and vibrant vocational learning community of residents
- Contributing valuable skills and, in return, becoming enriched through the culture of China and that of the local minorities

This is a full time position for a volunteer teacher. Volunteers are expected to teach 14 classes each week with 45 minutes each class. We also offer an administrative volunteer position and a combination position that takes up around 40 hours each week.
