Chile has long been known for its striking landscapes, including the Atacama Desert, the Andes Mountains, over 3,000 miles of coastline, and the gorgeous region of Patagonia. Volunteers looking to live alongside friendly locals will love the Buena Onda (or "good vibes") that Chileans live by. Chile has one of the strongest economies and stable democracies in Latin America. However, the government is still working to eradicate extreme poverty across the country, and volunteers can work alongside locals to help improve their communities.

As a volunteer, you'll be able to choose between assisting English teachers in schools, volunteering at a daycare, working at a medical facility, or caring for children staying at a shelter for women.
