South Africa - Wildlife Sanctuary

Program Description

Be part of an amazing team that works to save and protect some of the magnificent creatures of South Africa. Many of the animals living at the sanctuary have either been orphaned or injured and cannot be reintroduced into the wild. This allows volunteers to have a hands-on experience while volunteering at the sanctuary. Volunteers will split their time helping on various construction and maintenance projects around the sanctuary and caring for the animals. You will work closely with the staff at the reserve and learn how to properly care for the animals. Certain projects volunteers might assist with include building observation points around the sanctuary, feeding the animals, and general construction of animal enclosures.
