Seychelles Island Conservation Volunteer Programme

Program Description

This programme offers a rare opportunity to work with a well-renowned conservation organisation within a Nature Reserve on Cousin Island, which has been central to the further protection and survival of rare wildlife species in the Seychelles. Depending on the time of year, you can take part in wildlife conservation efforts such as Hawksbill turtle management, monitoring and ringing of large seabird and land bird populations, as well as census of tortoises, skinks and geckos. Next to this, you can be part of habitat conservation by removal of invasive species and planting of native plants and trees.
