Peru Orphanage/Child Care Programs
Program Description
Visit Peru and enjoy the cosmopolitan cities, coastal wildlife preserves, cloud people Amazonian rainforests, the Andes, Machu Picchu and Cuzco, as well as Lake Titiaca and the remnants of the Inca Empire.
Many individuals in Peru live in abject poverty even though a rise in tourism has boosted some aspects of the economy.
Volunteers will be able to work with the Orphanage Assistance Program. Your duties will include supporting children aged 0 to 5 as you help with vocational training like baking or handicrafts, play games and sports, read books, and interact with this children. You will also help out with nap time, activities, bottle feeding babies, and changing diapers. This is a worthwhile and rewarding experience that will require enthusiasm and patience.
