Mente Argentina- Emergency Housing Construction Position

Program Description

As a volunteer, you will be able to provide direct assistance for an international aid organization. You will work towards building emergency housing and shelter for underprivileged and impoverished families. You will work as a team to construct housing, conduct site evaluations to observe the local community, and create plans on how to match needs and resources.

Gain an insider’s appreciation for the importance of construction, infrastructure, and development as you learn about the challenges facing supply and demand. Volunteers will become informed about multiple levels of aid organizations and the resources required in building a viable project.

This is an ideal position for anyone who is interested in exploring solutions for eliminating poverty and who are fascinated in hands-on work and management.

Program highlights

1. Current college students and recent graduates with an interest in emergency relief are excellent candidates for this position

2. Participants will grow their global understanding and increase knowledge of the Latin American lifestyle
