Medical Internship

Program Description

MyGapYear Medical Internships offer motivated nursing, pre-med and medical students the chance to experience on-the-job training and gain valuable insight into daily operations of healthcare services in a developing country.

Interns will assist healthcare professionals including doctors and nurses in busy clinics and hosptials in Kathmandu. Nursing and medical students will be able to assist in fields including surgery, mental health, maternity, pediatrics, and A&E. Those qualified doctors and nurses will dispense daily medical treatment.

Take this chance to boost your experience and background in diverse medical practices to expand on your Australian foundation. This is a challenging position, but it is a fulfilling experience.

If you have the motivation and interest to learn more about healthcare in a developing country, gain more experience, or just hope to help those less fortunate, then a MyGapYear Medical Internship is for you!
