Program Description
This orphanage is a non-profit NGO, which takes care of children who are orphaned, suffered abuse or have been forsaken by their parents. The organization was founded in 1991 with the aim of finding a permanent and affectionate home for all children within six month. Currently, 45 children, aged between 0 and 18 years, are thriving in their care. They stay in two residential care homes in Quito and Latacunga, in the Province of Cotopaxi. The environment provides physical and emotional support, spiritual nurturin and lots of tender loving care.If you’d like to become a part of our social program, take up the challenge and register yourself for an initial meeting and get to know us. Afterwards, while working with us, you’ll accompany and support the children in their everyday life, implement teaching materials, create workshops, organize specific projects and assist occasionally in the office. More than 30% of the children are with disabilities, this is why physical therapy is a further important part of your work. At the end of your voluntary period, you will receive a work certificate from the Foundation.
