Honduras La Ceiba Orphanage/Day Care Programs

Take the opportunity to volunteer with a day care center which is directed towards children of single mothers. There are around 100 children from age 1 to 10. The center provides these children with attention, affection, and lunch.

Your duties as a volunteer will be to interact with these children in pre-school classes, play fun games with them, have interesting conversations, help in the kitchens, and with any other important chores. We are also affiliated with a residential orphanage that houses about 20 children aged 8-15. You will have the same duties, but with an emphasis on educational games, interaction, book reading, and light chores such as cooking, cleaning, and sweeping.

This volunteer project can be taken in tandem with our Language and Cultural Immersion.
