DAY CARE CENTER FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS

This is an institution that gives its services and attention to kids who have special needs as well as to their families of low economic resources, volunteers who give their support in this program can help in the day care center where it is possible to help to the local staff by playing with the kids, helping to take to the kids to the area of therapies, organizing games and activities for the kids, as well as to go with the kids and the staff to canotherapy activities (dogs therapy) on Fridays.

Moreover, volunteers can help in the area of therapies if they have the skills or if they are studying something related to therapies, and finally, for the volunteers who are studying medicine or who are Doctors can help in the institution as well.

The cost is based in 4 weeks participation in the program, however, the costs change according to the length of the staying of the volunteer into the program.

If volunteers wants to improve their level of Spanish, they can take Spanish classes with us during the afternoon
