Boys Town - Nuwaraeliya

Program Description

The De La Salle Brothers of Sri Lanka obtained the area in 1910 and created a Christian retreat which was later turned into the Boys’ Town. Nuwara Eliya Boys’ Town was developed to help these boys accomplish future goals based on talent and ability. The boys who reside in Boys’ Town have formed a community that is very close and they all exchange stories and talents. There is a four year residential training program open to underprivileged orphan children. As a volunteer, you will take care of these children by playing games, telling stories, helping them with art, or playing sports like football, volleyball, and cricket. You will be a great mentor and role model by showing them care and love. The Boys Town at Nuwara Eliya is a great place for voluntourism for singles, couples, groups, or even families. This facility has been fully renovated with great amenities and a restaurant. There are scenic views of Nuwara Eliya.
