Program Description

Study abroad in Auckland, the most populous city in New Zealand. It is an ideal setting that features entertainment, festivals, cultural sights, and many different robust industries. It is beautiful with sailboats and connects to the North Shore with a harbor bridge. There are many impressive natural sites in the area including rainforests, black sand beaches, and 48 volcanic cones.

The Albany campus is ideally located with plenty of shopping opportunities in the area. It has sports facilities, a performing arts center, libraries, art galleries, and many cafes.

Program highlights

- Enjoy field trips to interesting areas of New Zealand including to a Maori art workshop, exploring the Wairarapa wine region, and a festival of cultures.

- Participate in an internship. This is an option open to advanced communications students including seniors majoring in media studies, advertising, public relations, and communications.
