Program Description

Study abroad in Lyon and live in a city that is famous for its historical roots and cultural relevance. It was named as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1998 and houses monuments such as the Gallo-Roman Museum and Le Théàtre des Célestins. Cinema is a thriving part of the culture since Lyon natives, the Lumière brothers, were the creators of the first moving picture. There is a large film festival in Lyon that draws cinephiles, actors, and directors.

Lyon is situated in the lovely Rhône-Alpes region and is very near to Italy and Switzerland. You can also easily access Provence and Paris.
