USAC England: London (Semester/Yearlong)

London is one of the best destinations to study abroad in for the semester or year. While we also offer a summer program, this longer option allows students to really become immersed in the local culture and lifestyle. Grow your roots and explore London in depth as a cultural and historical capital with plenty to offer students.

Transportation is also very convenient with buses, trains, and the underground. Not only is London home to the Natural History Museum and the British Museum, it is features amazing art galleries such as the Royal Academy of Art and the National Gallery. Many of these museums are free to visit, so be sure to take advantage of your time here.

As a student in London, you will have access to a range of concerts including jazz or rock and even go to take in theatre shows or the opera. Ride the London Eye or cheer on your favorite team at local sporting events. There is plenty to eat and buy in the boutiques and restaurants around Bond Street or Soho and Covent Garden.

Students enrolled in the semester or yearlong programs will be able to:

- Participate in extended field trips to nearby regions including Cambridge and Bath
- Participate in internships and gain real world experience in the workplace

Students interested in participating in an internship are advised to apply early since this is a competitive program
