The Writing Workshops & Creative Arts in Cork, Ireland

This Summer Writing Workshop will take place in the beautiful city of Cork in Ireland. This program is opened to individuals with an interest in writing and is available to undergraduate, graduate, and non-degree seeking students. This is an ideal opportunity to explore your interests and to hone your talents. You will be able to learn about the literary history and culture of Ireland while also exploring a range of genres. 2018 marks our sixth year in Ireland, and we are excited to return to University College Cork during the height of the city's annual Midsummer Festival. As usual, we'll feature our writing workshops and seminars with exceptional faculty and guests, as well as our famous reading series, and excursions to nearby historic sites, like Dublin and Killarney. The UNO Writing Workshops Abroad have been held in such locations as Prague, Madrid, San Miguel, Edinburgh and Brunnenburg Castle for the last twenty years. Explore the culture and literature of Ireland in the lovely summer months.
