Tango & Salsa Dance Courses

You can also combine your Tango placement with a Salsa Course or a Spanish or Photography Course.

If you would like to add more hours to your weekly schedule in order to give you a more intensive Tango Dance learning experience, we can do that for you. There will be a supplementary charge for the additional hours.

During your programme you'll have lessons with one of two private tango teachers who regularly teach in various places throughout Buenos Aires, including Le Catedral. Both teachers are very famous in Argentina. The lessons scheduled for you are:

* A Tango Show, where you'll have a free dance lesson prior to watching the history of the Tango through the years. Not to be missed.
* You will get a chance to attend a Milonga. A Milonga is an open Tango party where all levels mix together. People from all over come to this weekly social event, where everyone dances together and continually change couple - all lots of fun!
* Five private tango classes per week, each lasting one hour. These will usually be taken in the afternoons but there will be some flexibility, depending on your teacher’s schedule.

Learn to Tango in the elegant capital of Argentina! You'll have lessons with a private tango teacher, who will tailor your programme to your individual level of expertise.

You’ll be given an allowance for breakfast and dinner (not lunch). This arrangement is to give you the flexibility to sample the great Argentinean food. Right on the doorstep of the hostel there are many cafes and restaurants with great priced menus just waiting for you….the choice is yours!

ACCOMMODATION: You'll live a hostel situated in a beautifully renovated historic building in Downtown Buenos Aires, very conveniently located for exploring the city and doing shopping. It's big enough to be sociable and fun, yet small enough to feel at home; a real chance to immerse yourself in Argentine culture.

You'll share a dorm room and have access to kitchen facilities. The hostel has several amenities, like internet and WiFi, a common area, DVD room, library, book exchange and a housekeeping service.
