Study Abroad at UAM (Autonomous University of Madrid)

Study Abroad in Madrid (SAM) offers programs designed for international students who wish to improve their knowledge of the Spanish language, culture as well as special topics related to Spanish society.
The program offers short courses in the summers as well as regular semester-long interdisciplinary courses that cater to student interests and needs. These courses are taught in either English or Spanish.
Students receive diplomas or transcripts with official European credits (ECTS).

We offer on-line level tests to assess each student´s language ability, and advise students when choosing programs. We also offer guidance on how to become accepted to the UAM for undergraduate and graduate studies.

The Diploma (DiLe) is a university degree that certifies that you have reached an "expert" level of the Spanish language and culture.
