English Literature

Program Description

Study British Literature at the source for English majors. This Fall Semester course will provide the opportunity benefit from living in London while enrolling in upper-level English classes so that program participants will continue their degrees on schedule. This program emphasizes the impact of London on American literature through the Americans who lived and were creatively affected by the city. Students will have the opportunity to view the plays, visit the museum exhibits, see the authors’ homes, and experience the settings of the poems and stories of Woolf, Dickens, Keats, Shakespeare, and Chaucer.
