CEA Study Abroad in Madrid, Spain

Program Description

Refine your Spanish-speaking skills and immerse yourself in the Spanish culture, surrounded by opportunity and history in Spain’s capital and largest city—go with CEA to Madrid! You’ll feel like a true madrileno as you stroll past the flowering balconies of 18th century buildings, and down the stone-paved streets of Madrid. It sometimes feels like you’re in a different world, but the student life, shopping, entertainment and infamous tapas bars throughout the city center will soon make you feel right at home. Madrid boasts an impressive array of cultural and historical attractions, from the amazing art works of Picasso, Miro, Goya, el Greco, Dali and more, all housed in the Art Triangle—the Prado, Reina Sofia, and Thyssen Museums—to the stunning architecture that's sprinkled throughout the city. You’ll take classes at CEA’s partner institution, Antonio de Nebrija University, and focus on business, liberal arts or Spanish language and culture. You can gain hands-on experience and practice your Spanish on the locals by participating in cultural activities such as flamenco shows, tours of Palacio Real and CEA’s Intercambio (language exchange) program.

Available programs include:
• Liberal Arts & Business
• Spanish Language & Culture

Volunteering, career workshops, service learning and internship opportunities further enrich and round out your study abroad experience in this amazing city!
