Spend your summer studying and exploring with CEA in the historic city of Berlin! Rich with history and political turmoil, Berlin has emerged from its turbulent past as a strong, progressive nation. Today Berlin stands as a center of commerce, scientific innovation, and political and economic power in the European Union, and is recognized for its fashion, nightlife and culture. Polish your German language skills and immerse yourself in local culture as you take classes at Immerse yourself in the German culture and language at Humboldt-Universitat zu Berlin, or take English-taught courses in economics, law or business at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

• Get a multidisciplinary view of the European Union’s role in globalization
• Take courses in English or German at CEA partner universities Berlin School or Economics and Law or Humboldt Universität zu Berlin
• Immerse yourself in the German language, history, literature, culture, arts and film with learning both in and out of the classroom
• Explore Germany and neighboring countries of Poland the Czech Republic on CEA excursions
• Study alongside German and international students
• Explore the history of “the wall” with other CEA students, take a gourmet tour of Berlin, and explore Jewish life in Berlin on a tour of the Jewish quarter
• Tour the Holocaust Museum, the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, and the Heritage Site of Potsdam—where Truman, Churchill and Stalin met at the end of WWII.
• Berlin is extremely bike friendly! Ride your bike to flea markets, the Berlin Beer Festival and all around campus
