Mente Argentina- Youth Outreach Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in working with underprivileged children between one and 12 years old. Volunteers will assist in building a structured and fun afterschool atmosphere while forging ties with the local community. Volunteers will brainstorm engaging activities like theater, dance, technology, and English classes. Volunteers may also have to act as tutors and help students with their homework.

Join an extensive organization that serves as a support system with over 100 children. Create games and add learning to activities as you become friends with the local children.

Volunteers will learn and improve on their Spanish language skills as they are immersed in the environment. Volunteers will use Spanish each day while interacting with children. Volunteers can also choose to boost their Spanish by enrolling in Mente Argentina’s short-term intense Spanish course which will take place at the beginning of their volunteer time.

1. Program coordinators from Mente Argentina provide pickup from the airport and 24 hour assistance

2. Volunteers are placed with local children in order to improve their education
